The Discover Cuba Tour

This Cuba tour includes VIP door to door transfers from your home to the airport, and back again. There are also a couple of days on the beach at the end. 10 nights from £1995 per person.

Cuba tours

Welcome to Cuba, a Caribbean island lost in time. Follow in the footsteps of Ernest Hemingway in his beloved Havana, a city of romantically faded grandeur where iconic 1950s automobiles parade seafront streets, and rumba bars rub shoulders with centuries old churches.

Head into the island’s verdant interior to experience incomparable scenic beauty. Discover further Spanish Colonial heritage in the elegant city of Trinidad and more recent Cuban history at Santa Clara, where iconic revolutionary Che Guevara is laid to rest. And no holiday to Cuba would be complete without some time to unwind on one of its idyllic soft white sand beaches.

Havana (4 nights)

Wednesday

We begin with the Titan's VIP Home Departure Service to London Gatwick airport for your direct scheduled Virgin Atlantic flight to Havana. On arrival our coach transfers you to the Hotel Sevilla or Parque Central where we stay for four nights.

Thursday

Culture lovers will be charmed by Havana, Cuba’s bustling, atmospheric capital with the ambience of a bygone era. After breakfast, which is included throughout your holiday, we visit the historic Partagas Cigar Factory to watch skilled workers drying, rolling and boxing the island’s most famous export. Our fascinating walking tour continues through the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the faded Spanish colonial architecture is slowly being restored to its former glory. Discover a host of beautiful streets with elegant plazas and the legendary Floridita Bar, where Hemingway famously drank mojitos. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Breakfast

Friday

We continue to Finca Vigia, Ernest Hemingway’s home. Purchased by the American writer in 1949, the estate (whose name translates as ‘Lookout Farm’) was where he wrote many of his best-known works. Now preserved as a museum, it provides a wonderful insight into the author’s life. Explore at your own pace before returning to Havana to spend a relaxing afternoon at your leisure.

Breakfast

Saturday

A full day to explore the old town at leisure. Alternatively, a trip across the bay leads you to El Morro, a 16th century fortress offering superb views of Havana's skyline. For a splendid spectacle of sequins, feathers and samba, join our optional excursion to Club Tropicana, the acclaimed Havana cabaret night spot that first opened its doors in 1931.

We then continue to Hotel Los Jasmines, located overlooking the Viñales Valley, for a two-night stay.

Breakfast

Monday

The inspiringly beautiful Viñales Valley is interspersed with dramatic rounded limestone formations known as mogotes. We visit a local farmer’s tobacco plantation before continuing to the Murial Prehistorica and the Cuevo del Indio (Indian Cave), where we board a boat in the opening to an underground river.

Our journey continues to Trinidad, a World Heritage Site which has been hailed as one of the best-preserved colonial cities in the world.
